About Francois Dumas
Born in 1952, not long after the war, in the flatlands of the north of The Netherlands, my Mom taught me to draw and paint AND to love mountains. So after much travel, private and on business, and having lived in many countries, back in 2014 we finally settled in Italy for our retirement years. With the stress of work out of the way, I finally found time again for my many hobbies..... although spouse and dog require a large portion as well. Photography and painting were learned when I was young but mostly dropped because of work... So now I am RELEARNING my lost skills again AND experimenting with new materials and techniques.
